Making Training Fun and Effective.
K9 Kinetics provides a fun and supportive learning environment for both you and your dog, using force-free methods based on positive reinforcement. Whether you want to teach your dog basic manners, or focus on more specialised areas such as strength and conditioning, or agility foundation, K9 Kinetics has options available for you. I can train your dog both in your home and out in the 'real world' in a specialised training programme to achieve the behaviours you want, to make your dog more enjoyable to live with. Alternatively I can work with you to give you the techniques you need to teach your dog appropriate behaviour. Email now to find a programme that suits you and your dog: sarah@k9connect.co.nz
Do you come back from a walk exhausted and stressed after being pulled around by your dog? I can help make those walks more relaxing for both you and your dog.
Does your dog lunge at people or other dogs when on lead? I can help reduce those reactions and make the approach of other people and dogs a more positive experience.
Do you have a dog that can't relax in the house and makes life difficult? I can help create a calmer dog that can live inside without creating chaos.
I can teach you how to read your dog's body language more effectively, how to spot potential problems, and how to get your dog to WANT to work with you. From puppies to older dogs, purebreds to SPCA specials, all dogs love to learn, and at K9 Kinetics both humans and dogs learn in a fun, supportive environment.
I have been living with dogs for almost 25 years, and training them seriously for over 12 years. I have experience in group and individual training, and have a Certificate in Animal Management - Canine Behaviour and Training (CAM-CBT). I am a full member of the Pet Professional Guild, and regularly attend conferences and seminars to keep up with the latest developments in pet dog training. Your dog will be trained using positive reinforcement, so sessions will be fun and stress-free for your dog.
